Tangela and Eric Parker, the Alexander County refugees who were wanted when a woman was shot dead in a furniture factory in Hickory, have been returned to Hickory.
The Parkers were arrested in Phoenix, Arizona, after avoiding law enforcement for six months while traveling around the United States.
Reports from outside the Hickory Police Department on Thursday evening suggested the Parkers were in custody there and will likely appear in court for the first time on Monday.
Tangela Parker is charged with the murder and Eric Parker with aiding and abetting murder.
The Parkers’ charges relate to the January shooting of Michelle Marlow, 51, at TCS Designs in Hickory, the furniture factory where they all worked.
