Kobre has joined the company Dallas as a partner in the Government Enforcement and Investigations and Litigation practice groups. Mr. Kobre joins the firm after serving more than a decade as the U.S. Assistant Attorney for the Southern District of new Yorkfocusing on securities and commodity fraud, complex fraud and cybercrime.

With the addition of Mr. Kobre, Bradleys Dallas Office has tripled since it opened in January 2019, strengthening the company’s strengths in litigation, finance, corporate law, government enforcement, fintech and emerging business. Mr. Kobre’s work includes representing companies, executives, wealthy individuals and financial institutions in criminal investigations and court proceedings, official enforcement proceedings and complex civil litigation. He conducts internal investigations, transaction diligence and advises on compliance matters and has particular experience with securities and commodity fraud, FCPA enforcement, health fraud, and criminal and civil asset deterioration.

Mr. Kobre served for over 11 years with the Justice Department as the U.S. Assistant Attorney in the southern District of new Yorkwhere he led the investigation and prosecution of a wide variety of economic crimes including insider trading, accounting fraud, corporate embezzlement, investment advisor fraud, market manipulation, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations, health fraud, money laundering and obstruction. He has also coordinated parallel civil proceedings with the SEC, CFTC, FINRA, FTC, bankruptcy administrators and court-appointed bankruptcy administrators and has conducted criminal forfeiture proceedings.

Mr. Kobre received his JD from Yale Law School, his Ph.D. in math from New York University, and his BA in Mathematics from Queens College, City University of New York.

Mr. Kobre is not yet licensed Texas but is admitted to practice in new York, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia.
