2021 Iowa Women’s Hall of Fame inductees include Donna Reed

Four newcomers – two posthumous and two living – will be inducted into the Iowa Women’s Hall of Fame during a virtual ceremony on November 6th.

Founded in 1975 to honor the achievements of Iowa women, 184 women were inducted into the state’s Women’s Hall of Fame last year. This year’s new additions were announced early last month.

Traditionally, the Iowa Women’s Hall of Fame holds its ceremony in person. But for the second year in a row, the organization will hold a virtual ceremony because of the ongoing pandemic. This year’s ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 6th at 10 a.m. and can be viewed on the Iowa Department of Human Rights Facebook page at Facebook.com/IowaDeptHumanRights.
