10:00 a.m. – Former Netflix employee Sung Mo Jun and his brother Joon Jun are expected to plead guilty to U.S. District Judge Paula McCandlis in Seattle for their role in an insider ring, which the authorities said has raised $ 3 million Has.

9:00 a.m. – The jury selection in the trial of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes is due to begin before US District Judge Edward Davila in San Jose, California. Holmes is accused of cheating on patients and investors by falsely claiming that her company developed technology that could perform a wide variety of tests on a single drop of blood.

The case is United States v. Holmes, US District Court, Northern District of California, No. 18-cr-00258.

Wednesday September 1st

1:00 p.m. – Former futures trader James Crombie will again urge the US 9th Court of Appeals in Pasadena to lift a lifetime trading ban imposed by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission. The appellate court had previously instructed the trial judge who approved the sanction to explain why it was justified.

The case is CFTC v Crombie, 9th Court of Appeals, No. 19-16190.

Thursday, September 2nd

10:00 a.m. – LendingClub Corp investor attorneys will urge the Seattle 9th Court of Appeals to reanimate their proposed class action lawsuit alleging the fintech firm is investing investors over a Federal Trade Commission investigation into its issuing fees Misled.

The case is Veal v LendingClub Corp, 9th Court of Appeals, No. 20-16603.
