WASHINGTON, Nov. 6 (Reuters) – A U.S. federal appeals court on Saturday granted a respite to the Biden government’s efforts to require workers in U.S. companies with 100 or more employees to vaccinate against COVID-19 or test weekly to let go, citing “serious legal and constitutional” “problems with the rule.
The ruling by the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit comes after numerous Republican-led states filed legal action against the new rule, which is set to go into effect Jan. 4.
