- Owner and security guard charged after SLA inspection in Suffolk restaurant. In response to numerous complaints from the community, Suffolk County Police said they and other authorities were closing the inspection Three star restaurant, At West Hills Road at Huntington Station at 10:40 p.m. Saturday, September 18. Henry Contreras, 36, of Huntington Station, the owner of the restaurant, and a 22-year-old security guard from East Patchogue have been charged with New York State General Business Law: Unlicensed Security Guard, an Unclassified Offense. - When and where you can vote from October 23rd. Early voting for the November elections will start on October 23rd and last until Sunday October 31st. There are several polling stations across the island, but the two most convenient for the hunting residents Dix Hills Fire Department and Huntington Public Library. (Huntington’s now)
- In a devastating turn of events that FBI confirmed that they found the body of a young woman following the description of. is equivalent to Blue point indigenous Gabby Petito. The body was found in Wyoming, and an FBI officer said, “I want to express my sincere condolences to Gabby’s family,” one FBI officer said. “As any parent can imagine, this is an incredibly difficult time for family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. We ask that you all respect their privacy as they mourn the loss of their daughter.” (CBS)
