Former Credit Suisse Group AG bankers have told detectives that the bank is still helping US clients hide accounts from the Internal Revenue Service, even after the company paid a $ 2.6 billion fine in 2014 and had promised to stop the practice.
These bankers “have provided credible information that Credit Suisse continued to assist Americans with hiding assets from the United States after 2014,” a civil lawsuit said on Nov. 18. “In some cases, the concealment continues today.”
