Mexico sues U.S-based gunmakers over flow of weapons across border

The number of murders in Mexico has skyrocketed in recent years as drug cartels split into smaller, warring groups that have diversified into extortion, kidnapping, and other criminal activities. Meanwhile, drug networks have increased shipments of heroin, methamphetamines, and fentanyl to the United States.
