Ai Weiwei Traces a Century of Making Authorities Squirm

The artist provocateur Ai Weiwei became world famous and mocked Chinese icons – dynastic artifacts, Tiananmen Square, the Beijing Olympics – and spent some time imprisoned for his artistic expressions. Mr Ai, who will publish his memoir on November 2nd, says his mission is to call on governments and institutions when freedoms are threatened.
